Communications

In an attempt to improve our communications to the members we have put together a new website - www.kalkaskamoose.org.  This website has an updated menu on it each month. These menus are also distributed at the lodge at the beginning of each month for those who do not have internet.

Capital Projects

The board has been active in authorizing more improvements for the Kalkaska Lodge this year.   Last year (2016),  you may have noticed several upgrades to the Lodge some of which are listed below.

•     New comfortable chairs
•     New 5-ton air conditioner
•     New 3-ton Minisplit Mitsubishi air conditioner
•     New Stainless steel tables - kitchen
•     New Serving Table - Social Quarters
•     New roof on Lodge Entrance
•     New roof on rear portion of bldg
•     New Popcorn Machine
•     New Freezer in Kitchen
•     Revitalized picnic area out back
•     Televisions at the Bar
•     New Sign along M-66

More recently further improvements and additions have been made this year that include:

• JukeBox
• New Door and Patio with roof off the rear of the building
• New door entry carrd reader System - Don't forget to use your Moose card
• New Point of Sale computer System
• New Stainless Steel 6-burner Stove/Oven
• New 75 gallon hot water heater

Thank you for your contributions as they have gone a long way to making the Lodge a better place!  There is a donation jar at the entrance for this year if you would like to help once again.

Moose Theme Tree

Betty does a wonderful job redecorating the Moose tree to fit the occasion.  Of course it was very nicely decorated for this  past Christmas.  Then it  was decorated in honor of Valentines Day, and then St Patty's day.
